Hi Ya’ll.
My name’s Carrie and I’m the owner of Dirty Monkey Soap Co. which is where I make and sell my own line of body care and cosmetics.
I used to own a cigar shop called Cumberland Cigar Co. along with my late husband Ed Guevara. I kept it going for a couple of years after his death but thanks to many changes – most of them economic I’ve made a big switch and leap in my life.
As in – xnay on the obaccotay and a return to creativity.
I love being in St. Marys and I think downtown and is a special place so, closing the shop entirely was out of the question. I had to come up with something though that I love doing as much as selling cigars.
I’ve decided to go back to what my profession was before becoming a widow in 2007.
I make soap and sell all sorts of yummy smelling bath goodies, body care, cosmetics and candles. I use the best ingredients possible and take us much care in my packaging as I do in my production while proving an affordable product. I invite you to stop in our little corner of downtown and try a sample.
Everything is made in store and in small batches. Custom orders are always welcome.
